Establishing the first consolidated baseline of conservation finance flows into Papua and West Papua, across public, donor and private sources.

About the project

Papua holds the largest remaining tract of intact forest in Southeast Asia. Conservation finance flowing into the region has never been consolidated across sources, making it impossible to assess adequacy or gaps.

This project builds that baseline and identifies where a special autonomy-linked conservation financing mechanism could add durable revenue.
